How it works
From a recommendation to a payout, on record at every step.
Six steps take an introduction from a conversation to a commission. Each one has an owner, a time limit and a record both sides can see.

Step 01 · Business
Set up your programme
Say what you sell, the clients you want and what an introduction is worth. Then invite the people who already recommend you.
- You do
- Verify your company, set commission terms, upload your client list, place a refundable deposit.
- Vouchd does
- Checks your CAC record, scrambles your client list so only matches can be detected, and approves the programme.
- Time
- About 20 minutes, plus up to 2 working days to verify.
Fleet maintenance · Commission terms
₦150,000 per signed client
Step 02 · Introducer
An introducer recommends you
Someone who knows the client registers the introduction and sends them a personal link, in their own words, by WhatsApp or email.
- Introducer does
- Names the company, the contact and the need, and declares no conflict of interest.
- Vouchd does
- Stops the introduction if the client is already yours or already introduced. Vouchd never messages the client first.
- Time
- Under 2 minutes. The link stays open for 14 days.

Step 03 · Client
The client says yes
This is the step everything rests on. The client reads who is introducing them, what you do, and that a commission may be paid. If they agree, one tap puts it on record.
- Client does
- Taps “Yes, introduce me” or “No thanks”. No account, no app.
- Vouchd does
- Timestamps the yes and locks the commission terms. If the client says no, their details are deleted within 24 hours.
- Time
- Under a minute for the client.

Adaeze Okafor would like to introduce you to Kestrel Logistics.
Kestrel provides haulage and warehousing for manufacturers in Lagos and Ogun.
Adaeze may earn a commission if you become a client. This does not change your price.
Step 04 · Business
You review and accept
You see the client, their need and who introduced them. Accept, or decline against your stated criteria. Once accepted, the protection window starts and a referral agreement is generated for both sides.
- You do
- Accept, or decline with a reason. Then contact the client within your promised time.
- Vouchd does
- Shares contact details both ways and starts the 180-day protection window.
- Time
- 5 working days. No decision means the introduction is accepted.

Step 05 · Business
You win the deal and record the payment
Your client pays you directly, the way they always would. You record each payment in Vouchd, and the commission on it is calculated from the terms locked at the yes.
- You do
- Move the deal through its stages, mark it won, record each client payment.
- Vouchd does
- Keeps the introducer up to date, reminds you of expected payments, and asks the client later if a deal was never marked won.
- Time
- Record each payment within 7 days of receiving it.

Step 06 · Business and Vouchd
The introducer is paid
You fund the commission through our licensed payment partner. The introducer is paid to their verified bank account, and both of you get the paperwork.
- You do
- Fund the commission by transfer or card, keep the withholding tax and remit it.
- Vouchd does
- Pays the introducer, issues their statement and tax receipt, and gives you the WHT schedule.
- Time
- Fund within 7 days. The introducer is paid within 3 working days.

Where the money goes
Your client pays you. You pay the commission. Vouchd never holds the money.
A worked example: a ₦3,000,000 contract, a flat ₦150,000 commission, an introducer you invited yourself.
Client → You
₦3,000,000
Paid to your account as usual. Vouchd doesn't see or touch it.
You → Payment partner
₦142,500
The commission, less the ₦7,500 withholding tax you keep and remit.
Partner → Introducer
₦142,500
Paid to the introducer's verified bank account within 3 working days.
Network introducers: a 10% fee on the commission (₦15,000 here), falling to 5% from the fourth deal with the same introducer.
Paid in instalments? Commission is calculated on each payment you record, in proportion.
Tax rates shown are illustrative. Your WHT schedule uses the rate that applies to each introducer.
What if
Every awkward case has an answer already.
…the client is already ours?
If they're on the client list you uploaded, the introduction is stopped before anyone contacts them. If they aren't, you'll need dated proof, such as a contract or invoice from before the yes.
…two introducers name the same client?
The first open introduction stands. The second introducer is told the client is already registered, without being told by whom.
…a business doesn't report the win?
At 90 and 180 days we ask the client whether they went ahead. A yes on an unreported deal opens a review. Commission found owed is drawn from the business's deposit if it isn't paid.
…the client signs after the window closes?
No commission is owed, unless signing was deliberately delayed to avoid it. A deal won inside the window keeps earning on later payments.
…the client asks for a refund?
A refund within 60 days of a payment reverses the matching commission from the introducer's next payout. After 60 days, the commission stands.
…we still disagree?
Either side raises a dispute with evidence. The other side has 5 working days to respond, and Vouchd decides within 14 days, citing the published rule. One appeal is allowed.
Every clock, in one place
Nobody waits without knowing how long.
Both sides see each deadline as a date and a countdown, and get a reminder before it passes.
